Could the “beef” be officially over?

It’s no secret that Cardi B. and Nicki Minaj aren’t fans of each other. But it looks like the situation could be in the past now.

During a recent nterview with Nadeska for Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio, Cardi seemingly gave Nicki Minaj props. Cardi doesn’t name drop, but she saluted a female rapper for her tenure in the rapper game, and it’s people think she was referring to the Queen.

During the conversation, Cardi was asked about female rappers she looked up to growing up.

“When I was younger…when I was 6, 7, 8, there was a lot of female rappers and then there was a time when there was no female rappers at all. I had to keep replaying songs from the early 2000s. Like, I had to keep replaying it, replaying it, replaying it because for a while there wasn’t no female rappers. And then, there was one female rapper that dominated for a very long time and she did pretty good and still dominating.”

Nicki Minaj arrived on the rap scene in the early 2000’s and was the dominating female rapper in the game. Take a look:
