Cassie Ventura, singer and ex-girlfriend of Diddy, is reportedly cooperating with federal investigators in Diddy’s sex trafficking allegations after settling with Diddy in November.
According to TMZ, Cassie has been cooperating with authorities in the federal investigation into a billionaire whose properties were raided this month. The report shares that she, among others, is communicating with authorities to provide information on possible crimes committed by Diddy.
While under investigation, the 54-year-old mogul hasn’t had a warrant issued for his arrest or brought up on criminal charges regarding sexual misconduct of any kind. He has several lawsuits filed against him for sexual assault.
Diddy and Cassie ended their 11-year relationship in 2018. In the lawsuit against Diddy, Cassie alleged he was abusive, manipulative, and vengeful. The lawsuit highlighted that Diddy allegedly set fire to Kid Cudi‘s SUV because Cudi was dating Cassie while they were separated.
Cassie’s communication with authorities has not been disclosed. Other investigations include women who have interacted with Diddy in the past. Singer/songwriter Tiffany Redd has spoken publicly about the alleged abuse Cassie endured while with Diddy.
After the settlement, Cassie prepares her return to music, including touring. Her attorney released a statement on Diddy’s raid on March 27.
