Cedric The Entertainer speaks Katt Williams’ “Club Shay-Shay” interview.
While on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, Ced was asked about the interview and his first initial response. “It’s an interesting time now,” Cedric told ET. “People get on these blogs and they just start spewing off stuff that’s not even factual. I let the fodder just go out there until I’m ready to respond to it. I am who I am, I stand on that for sure.”
During Katt’s interview he accused Cedric of stealing his joke from 1998 and using on “The Original Kings of Comedy,” two years later. Cedric shot down those allegations stating, “Revisionist History, regardless of whatever Katt’s opinion. My career can’t be reduced to one Katt Williams claims as his. I been in over 40 movies, and my specials and brand speak volumes for I am. The people I have put on including ‘Katt in the Hat.” At the Gibson Amphitheater,” he wrote.
He added, “And all that tough talk is corny af, I’m a grown a** man. And none of that s**t gonna go like you think. You do you and I got this over here.”
