Chance the Rapper may have just exposed a recent trend in ads to gain the result of higher engagement.
Last night (Mar 26), the rapper went on Twitter to use Heineken as an example for what he feels has been an increase in ads that push the button of race in America.
The ad in question was a brand new campaign from the popular beer brand in which the tagline is “sometimes lighter is better.”
Following his tweets, Heineken pulled the ad.
