Charleston White criticizes Diddy for returning his key to the city of New York.
Diddy returned the honor on Saturday (June 15) upon Mayor Adams’s request amid the mogul’s current legal drama. The 54-year-old entertainer originally received the key in September 2023. Adams requested the return following the release of the 2016 surveillance footage of Diddy attacking then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a Hollywood hotel hallway.
On Sunday (June 16), the controversial comedian posted an Instagram comment with his thoughts on the return. In the post, White suggested that Diddy had shown the same aggression he exhibited to Cassie in the surveillance footage.
“Diddy wrong for giving the key to the city back,” wrote White. “He should’ve made them repo it! Or fight them for it like he fought Cassie, when she tried to run off with his sh*t he paid for.”
Charleston White has supported Diddy in interviews since the surveillance footage surfaced. The latest comments follow a trail of brutal remarks by the comedian last week. Over the week, White took a photo with Lul Timm, the alleged murderer of King Von, and delivered a harsh message to Von’s family; then White shared his honest opinions on the passing of fellow Fort Worth native and rap star Enchanting.
All of White’s posts have received mixed reviews from followers across social media.
No official charges have been brought against Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was under federal probe. In March, federal agents raided Diddy’s properties. Rolling Stone released an exposé with interviews with over 30 of the mogul’s former employees.
