Controversial comedian Charleston White shares his brutally honest truth about the passing of Fort Worth, Texas, recording artist Enchanting on Tuesday (June 11). After being removed from life support treatment following a drug overdose, the 26-year-old singer, best known as a protege of Gucci Mane, died on Tuesday.
An Instagram post from the 46-year-old comic, also from Fort Worth, Texas, alleged the singer, who passed away in June, was an “unsuccessful dopefiend.” Sharing a photo of Enchanting, the caption reads:
“This young lady is from my city, I’m very familiar with her rap success and it wasn’t a success! I mentioned her situation years ago, she was a FUCK TOY with talent who hardly put out music but posted a lot of social media pics!”
He continued: If someone die doing what they like to do (getting high) then why should anyone be sad for that person? She died a dopefiend just like the rest of them in the music industry! I told y’all they was just fucking on her and wasn’t putting no music out!”
The comedian’s post on the singer would receive mixed reactions as it circulated across social media. Followers call his opinion offensive, while others reluctantly agree with his analysis.
Hip-hop paid respects to Enchanting and her family after the death was announced, including her former mentor, Gucci Mane. White then discussed the Atlanta rapper’s executive skills by analyzing the fate of each artist after signing to the 1017 Global Music record label.
In a second Instagram post about Enchanting, White said the following about Gucci Mane, “Gucci Mane (@laflare1017) is one of the worst CEO Rap niggas in the history of rap! He worst than Puffy, Joe Jackson, and Pebbles.”
Breaking down the 1017 Global roster, White wrote in the caption, “Status on all 6 of Gucci Mane’s ‘New 1017’ artists: * Pooh Shiesty – serving 8 years, Big Scarr – passed away, Enchanting – passed away, Foogiano – serving 5 years, Hotboy Wes – serving 15 years, K Shiday – dropped by label, Roboy – dropped by label, Hoodrich Pablo Juan is also facing RICO charges.”
White’s comments on Enchanting follow his latest antics on Instagram, including another deceased rap star, King Von. The comedian taunted the family of the late recording artist on social media by posting a photo of Von’s alleged killer, rapper Lul Timm.
The families of Enchanting or King Von have responded to White’s comments. Gucci Mane has not responded to White’s comments about 1017 at this time.
