A Chicago rapper named FBG Cash, born Tristian Hamilton, 31, was reportedly fatally shot in Chicago.
XXL reports the shooting happened on Friday, June 10 approximately 5:30 a.m. Cash was in the car with a woman, an unnamed 29-year-old. According to the report, the two drove near the 1600 block of W. 81 St. in Chicago. A four-door sedan pulled up, and an unknown person got out of the sedan and opened fire on the victim’s car.
Cash was hit a few times, the exact amount isn’t clear, as well as his female companion, who was struck in the left arm and upper back. Cash reportedly shot back with a gun.
Unfortunately, the shooter returned to their car and fled the scene. Police haven’t arrested any suspects as of yet.
The unidentified woman and Cash were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Cash was pronounced dead, and the woman is in serious condition.
Two years ago, Cash’s Fly Boy Gang affiliate, FBG Duck was killed after multiple gunmen shot at him, his girlfriend, and an associate when they were shopping in Chicago. Last October, five meant were indicted for murder in aid of racketeering in connection to Duck’s death. If found guilty, they face life or the death penalty.
