Chief Keef claims social media hack was behind his recent endorsement of Donald Trump.

In a now-deleted post, the Chicago rapper shared a photo of himself at a White House podium with the message: “Trump 2024,” seemingly supporting the disgraced former President.

Shortly after, he addressed the situation on social media, claiming his account was hacked. “Twitter is hacked: Management,” he wrote in his Instagram Stories.

Despite his recent distancing from the former president, Chief Keef previously backed Trump during his 2023 arrest in Georgia for attempting to overturn the 2020 election results. That year, Trump made history as the first former president to have a mugshot taken. Keef reacted by sharing a photoshopped image of Trump with Gangster Disciples colors and stating that “the Blacks” would support him in prison.

“Nah my boy in dat Bitch Banging on dem folks [crying face emojis] I know what ever deck he on he good in da hood for sure he finna run the prison… That boy finna be eatin like a mf all da blacks finna have my boy back,” wrote Keef alongside the image.

On the music front, Chief Keef recently postponed his A Lil Tour due to a “medical emergency,” announcing the delay on the same day the tour was scheduled to start. The tour’s opening show at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on Tuesday (July 16) will be rescheduled, along with the entire 17-date tour.

In a statement from Live Nation, Keef expressed his regret, saying: “To my fans, I’m so sorry to announce this, but due to a medical emergency, I’ve been ordered to stay home to recover, so I have to postpone the tour. Those who bought tickets can opt for a refund or keep it for a future date. I intend to be back on the road soon. Thank you, I love y’all.” The next day, Keef reiterated his message on Instagram, writing: “[F]or health reasons I’m postponing the tour until later this year. Be on the road real soon!”
