Reportedly, Solange praised Chief Keef during an exchange between them over the weekend. According to reports, a video surfaced of Sosa meeting Solange, capturing his surprised reaction as the Chicago drill icon learned that the A Seat at the Table singer is a fan of his work. “That’s you on the keys?” Solange asked, leaving Sosa stunned. His reply: “What the f–k is going on?” Solange just laughed.
In a recent clip, Sosa affectionately refers to Solange as his “bestie.” He stated, “Y’all heard Solange my bestie.” “That’s my bestie.” A passerby weighed in: “That’s hard!”

Supporters flooded The Neighborhood Talk’s IG, embracing the surprising connection. One fan commented, “I love how celebrities get star struck as well cuz Sosa ain’t wrong this is a wholesome moment frfr.” One more chimed in: “He was lowkey happy she knew who he was I love that for her!” Nonetheless, Sosa is officially back on tour with the postponed “A Lil Tour,” picking up steam to end 2024 after a medical setback earlier this year. His North American itinerary includes stops in Denver, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Detroit, Philadelphia, and more, culminating in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 24.
Though a Solange and Chief Keef collaboration remains unseen, the future may hold surprises. In May, Sosa’s long-awaited Almighty So 2 secured a Billboard 200 spot, debuting at No. 30. Since releasing her last album, When I Get Home, in 2019, Solange has taken a step back from new music, though she hinted at composing for the tuba earlier this year. She revealed to Harper’s Bazaar, “I’ve started writing music for the tuba, and I am trying to talk myself into releasing it, but I can only imagine the eye rolls from people being like, this b—h hasn’t made an album.”
