Clipse turn up the heat at Pharrell Williams’ latest Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2025 show in Paris, fueling rumors that a reunion is on the horizon.

On Tuesday (June 18) during Paris Fashion Week, the dynamic duo —consisting of brothers Gene “No Malice” Thornton and Terrence “Pusha T” Thornton — debuted a new song for the second year in a row in support of their friend and longtime collaborator’s latest collection.

On the track, produced by Pharrell, the rappers somewhat change their tune, dedicating the new song to their parents, both of whom passed away recently. Haunting piano keys build for about two minutes before John Legend’s voice trickles in, singing, “The birds don’t sing.”

“Lost in emotion, mama’s youngest/ Tryna navigate life without my compass/ Some experience death and feel numbness/ But not me, I felt it all and couldn’t function,” raps Pusha T, referencing his mother’s passing in November 2021. Taking the lead on the second verse, No Malice paints a grim picture of finding his father’s dead body just months after grieving the loss of his mother. “Your car was in the driveway, I knew that you were home/ By the third knock, a chill ran through my bones/ The way you miss mama, I guess I should’ve known/ Chivalry ain’t dead, you ain’t let her go alone,” he raps.

The performance marks the second consecutive year that Clipse has premiered a new song, specifically in honor of their friend Pharrell.

Further, fans are noticing a trend and questioning whether the new banger foreshadows the brothers’ return to the rap game as a duo.

“We are back!” wrote one hopeful fan.

“Clipse reunion has finally happened!” another commented. “So new clipse album this year I’m guessing,” added a third user.

Needless to say, fans are eager for more to come!
