DaBaby has finally settles a legal issue stemming from a 2020 incident, as he settled a lawsuit according to court documents obtained by TMZ on September 27th. The case originated after DaBaby allegedly “sucker-punched” homeowner Gary Pagar during a music video shoot for the Stunna 4 Vegas track “Play You Lay” at Pagar’s property. Pagar sued the rapper over the altercation, which reportedly occurred after Pagar voiced concerns about the video shoot’s regulations. Both parties have now reached a global settlement, and they’ve requested that the courts cancel future hearings to finalize the agreement.

As DaBaby closes this chapter, he has more to celebrate. He recently released his first project in two years, titled HOW TF IS THIS A MIXTAPE? True to form, the project features his signature style, packed with fiery verses, leaving fans wondering what else the Charlotte rapper has planned for 2024.

In the midst of settling the lawsuit, DaBaby also made headlines for his bold reactions to the Diddy scandal. He playfully trolled the situation by incorporating baby oil into an upcoming music video, referencing the alleged hundreds of bottles found during federal raids on Diddy’s properties. Despite his legal troubles, DaBaby’s provocative and jester-like persona remains intact.

DaBaby’s confrontational streak continues, both in his music and personal life. He recently dropped a diss track aimed at DaniLeigh’s brother, who had previously sued him over a fight. Whether in court or online, DaBaby remains unafraid to respond with his signature bluntness. Hopefully, 2025 will bring fewer legal issues for the 32-year-old rapper, but it’s clear he will continue to respond fiercely to any challenge.
