Desiigner says he was “out his mind” ahead of exposing himself on an airplane.
During a recent interview with NoJumper, the rapper explains, “I didn’t know what I was doing. I was fully tweaked out of my mind.” He continued, “when I was vegan I didn’t have enough sugars and stuff like that so it was like I was out of my body.”
“I was on medication and just went to sleep on the plane. I’m, like, out of my body saying wild sh*t.”
We previously reported that the rapper masturbated in front of flight attendants’ mid-flight. TMZ reported that “Panda” rapper exposed his private area while sitting in first class of a Delta flight. He was asked multiple times by flight attendants to stop.
Desiigner was eventually escorted to the back of the plane where he was monitored. The FBI affidavit says a jar of Vaseline dropped into the aisle as he was getting up to switch seats. He was met by police when he landed.
The rapper issued a statement following the incident. He explained at the time, “for the past few months i have not been ok, and i have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on. While overseas for a concert i performed at, i had to be admitted in to a hospital, i was not thinking clearly,” said the rapper.
“They gave me meds, and i had to hop on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane, I landed back to the states and am admitting my self in a facility to help me. I will be cancelling all shows and any obligations until further notice. Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If you’re not feeling like yourself please get help.”
