Diddy has hit Sean John — the fashion lifestyle company he founded — with a whopping $60 million lawsuit as allegations of severe misconduct continue to shadow the embattled Bad Boy Records boss.

In 1998, Sean “Diddy” Combs would go on to found the brand, by the same name — which soon became a household name. However, in 2016, the rap mogul sold a 90% stake to Global Brands Group.

Years later, in 2021, he filed multiple lawsuits against the company for misusing his image and likeness without consent, including in a collaboration with the fast fashion brand Missguided and an attempt to exploit the “vote or die” trademark. After buying back the company for $7.5 million following Global Brands Group’s bankruptcy, he continued his legal fight.

It’s worth noting, that Combs has now voluntarily dismissed all claims and counterclaims, reports AllHipHop.

The news follows backlash from ongoing allegations of severe misconduct against Combs. In late May, Peloton announced it had parted ways with him amid accusations of sexual assault, human trafficking, and more.

According to CNN,, shortly after a video allegedly showing the Bad Boy mogul assaulting his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 surfaced, a member of a private Peloton Facebook group made a suggestion.

“Dear Peloton, Your next purge needs to be all Diddy classes. Signed, women everywhere,” the message reads.

Responding to the user via its official Facebook profile, the company addressed the request from a group of nearly 500,000 members.

“Thank you for sharing your concerns,” wrote Peloton. “We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton has paused the use of Sean Combs’ music, as well as removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, on our platform.”

However, it’s important to note that the company did not acknowledge whether older classes featuring Diddy tracks will remain in the rotation.

In June, following a request from New York Mayor Eric Adams to return his honorary key to the city, he complied. The mogul received the key in a ceremony last year coinciding with the release of his Love album.
