In recent reports, claims have surfaced that prominent celebrities are discreetly settling with victims to avoid being named in Diddy‘s sexual assault lawsuits. According to the New York Post, Lawyer Tony Buzbee, who represents more than 120 of Diddy’s alleged victims, revealed to TMZ that several high-profile figures are on the verge of being sued. He’s giving them an opportunity to settle privately before the cases hit court, with some stars already agreeing to terms. The attorney stated, “In every single case, especially cases like this… because it’s in the best interests of the victim, we attempt to resolve these matters without the filing of a public lawsuit and we’ve done that already with a handful of individuals, many of which you’re heard of before.”

The mogul was taken into custody last month in a sex-trafficking case and has entered a not guilty plea. Buzbee plans to file multiple lawsuits this month, representing 25 minors, among others. He has already issued demand letters to additional parties beyond combs. Buzbee emphasized he will pursue anyone who witnessed the alleged abuse and neglected to intervene.

Buzbee voiced, “If you were there in the room, participated, watched it happen and didn’t say anything or helped cover it up, in my view, you have a problem.” “A lot of people saw this activity going on, a lot of people allowed it to go on, said nothing, didn’t intervene… all of these individuals and entities have exposure.” However, the release of the prominent names won’t begin this week.

Buzbee went on to convey, “Everyone is focused on what other celebrities were involved, who is going to be named, who is going to be outed. I don’t expect that to happen this week.” “We want to make sure if we name individuals beyond Mr. Combs that we have done our homework because it is going to create a firestorm, and we understand that.” Diddy has been incarcerated since his Sept. 16th arrest for allegedly coercing women into drug-fueled “freak-offs” with male escorts.
