Diddy‘s attorneys have responded to prosecutor Tony Buzbee’s recent lawsuits, which have sent Hollywood into a frenzy. Hot97 previously reported that during an October 1st press conference, Buzbee announced that he will be representing 120 alleged victims who have been sexually assaulted by the mogul. Nonetheless, according to TMZ, Diddy’s legal team states, “The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity.” The attorney’s added, “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman.”
Hot97 reports that Buzbee submitted six additional sexual assault lawsuits against the mogul on Monday. The accusations were split between men and women, including one who alleged that he was only 16-years old at the time of the encounter. Buzbee is reportedly gearing up to bring more lawsuits in the following days or weeks. Some of which, will include high-profile celebrities.
Diddy Held Without Bail Until May 2025 Court Date
Diddy was arrested on September 16th at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan. Since then, he has remained in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His attorneys have sought bail, but were denied twice during trial. Nevertheless, Diddy will remain behind bars until his next court date, which has been set for May 2025.
