Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after she experienced discomfort in her chest.
According to TMZ, Combs will stay in the hospital for at least another day. A source close to the family reportedly says Diddy is by his mother’s side while she’s hospitalized. “He’s her comfort in this” says the source.
Reported on TMZ, the chest pains may have been caused from her son’s legal troubles. “I can’t even imagine the pain a mother experiences watching all of this unfold so publicly. can’t be easy. Have some grace for her” comments one fan after the news was shared.
We previously reported that Diddy shared a video via Instagram apologizing after a resurfaced video shows him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie in 2016. “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you gotta do that,” he began. “I mean I hit rock bottom. But I make no excuses.”
Diddy added, “My behavior on the video was inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.” He continues: “I was disgusted then when I did it, I’m disgusted now. I went and sought professional help, had to go to therapy, rehab. Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry, I’m committed to being a better man each and every day, I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
The apology video has since been removed from his Instagram, and he has been spotted vacationing. Cassie’s legal team responds to the now viral video of Diddy white water rafting. In a statement to TMZ, Douglas Wigdor, Cassie’s attorney, expresses, “I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead.”
