Drake‘s security team has been quite busy these days. TMZ reports that the rapper’s security had an incident with another trespasser — this marking the third incident as of late. Police officials told the publication that around 3:30 today (May 11) they responded to a disturbance at Drake’s Toronto home.
TMZ cameras caught footage of the incident, which shows an unidentified man being restrained on the ground. An eye-witness claims while biking past the rapper’s pad, he came across two of his security guards. He says that the man had been placed face down, with a security guard’s knee on his back.
Before this, another security guard was involved in a shooting incident in front of the “Slime You Out” rapper’s home. The man was taken to the hospital and is still in serious condition. However, it appears Drake was not home at the time of the incident. In another shocking turn of events, not only was the rapper’s home shot at but his OVO storefront in London was recently vandalized. Lamar’s lyrics from “Not Like Us” were spray painted on the building’s front windows.
Drake Seemingly UnBOTHERED By Recent Trespassing Incidents
That said, Drake doesn’t seem to be too concerned. The rapper recently took to Instagram to address some of Toronto’s local media. While he seems to have no problem with them doing their job, he would prefer if they did it quietly. The Toronto-bred rap star says the helicopters have been disturbing his sleep.
“@cp24breakingnews can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house cause I won’t lie, I’m trying to sleep [heart emoji], anytime after 3 p.m. works great for me,” he wrote. Outside of his recent post, Drake has not officially spoken to the public about the matter. So far, it’s unclear if these incidents have been linked to his recent beef with Kendrick Lamar.
