Newsweek revealed Enchanting’s cause of death and last message to fans on Wednesday (June 12).
The former Gucci Mane protege died on Tuesday (June 11) after being taken off life support following a drug overdose. She was 26.
Her last Instagram post on June 5 promoted her OnlyFans account, stating, “Link in bioooo. go sub! I’m shooting video June 6 so stfu please 2 videos coming back to back.” The post’s comments were disabled, and she had amassed 1 million followers on the platform.
A representative from her management team confirmed her death on Tuesday evening with The Shade Room. Enchanting was experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms and had spent the last four days at home trying to detox. “She tried her best, and I did everything I could to help her,” said the artist’s representative.
The representative elaborated: “She tried her best, and I did everything I could to help her.”
Hip-hop flooded social media on Tuesday to celebrate Enchanting’s life, with tributes from Gucci Mane, Yella Beezy, Jacquees, and more. “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant,” wrote Gucci Mane on Instagram.
