Yes.. Euphoria will return for a season 3.
The popular HBO series had the internet buzzing regarding a return date and the news is official. The show will be returning according to HBO and Warner Bros. executives.
During a recent interview, JB Perrette, president/CEO of global streaming and games at Warner Bros. Discovery, and Casey Bloys, chairman and CEO of HBO and Max content, shared some details regarding to the upcoming season. According to Bloys, the shows creator and writer Sam Levinson is working on the next season, and some new changes are in place.
“There’s been a lot of back and forth … One of the issues I think that Sam is thinking about is that he doesn’t want to have it in high school anymore. That’s where it was set and what made sense then. So when you take it out of that, there’s a lot of back and forth about where to set it and how far in the future to set it and all that stuff,” Bloys explained.
As far as the cast, Bloys says Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer, are returning. “It’s the same core cast,” Bloys said.
“Euphoria” premiered on HBO in 2019 and stars Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Maude Apatow, Storm Reid and Colman Domingo. The Season 2 finale aired in February 2022.
