Foolio’s family reveals their intention to honor their loved one in a special way.
On Tuesday (June 25), the mother of the up-and-coming Florida rapper, Sandrika, took to social media with a heartfelt message, sharing her plans to honor her son’s legacy.
“RIP Son … Charles Jones II “Foolio” The “Real” Life Story Documentary Coming Soon …,” she began. “The story that only I can tell because I know the Truths from the Fakes, I think Im the “ONLY” mother that keep it Real while MOST others know dam well what was going on with their OWN sons , this been going on since 2014-2015.
“Some of these same women “Celebrating” your death is some of the same Women looked up to me , sitting in my building I was their TEACHER and they were my STUDENTS at a Big Grown Age taking notes, not lets forget that!!! The same women that was buying your CDs for their kids, lets not forget that!!! These same women sons did the same thing you did went tit for tat on this drill music in which I NEVER Condoned.
She continued by addressing the criticism she has faced as a parent since Foolio’s passing, writing: “Mfs ask where his mom, it starts from home !!! Them not knowing I stayed on you bout this beef chit, cussed u out, begged u to take stuff down and when I was SHOT 8 times, I spared their lives even tho mine was changed !!! 10 plus years ago u started this music stuff in Jax Fl and had all the teen parties turnt, caught mega buses to ATL at 16 for your career. I think your 1st interview their was with DJ Small Eyes. But Ill talk about this later in the Documentary.”
In closing, Sandrika graciously offered thanks to those in her corner, including Foolio’s team.

Over the weekend, reports circulated that Foolio had tragically been shot and killed in Tampa. According to his lawyer, Lewis Fusco. Foolio, had recently celebrated his 26th birthday. The incident occurred after a party in an Airbnb where he and his crew were asked to leave. Fusco stated that they later checked into a Holiday Inn, where Foolio was fatally ambushed in the parking lot.
Following the incident, the Tampa Police issued the following statement: “The victim in this morning’s shooting is believed to be Charles Jones –Positive identification is pending confirmation from the Medical Examiner’s Office.” According to the police, at least three other people were injured during the shooting. A woman claiming to be the rapper’s girlfriend shared a post via X: “Y’all took my boyfriend from me. I hate you all, and I won’t be the only one crying.”
While no arrests have been made, authorities in Jacksonville express confidence that an arrest is imminent.
