Future’s latest album, Mixtape Pluto, delivered big on production and catchy hooks but left fans scratching their heads due to the absence of some highly anticipated features. Both Travis Scott and Gunna were expected to appear on the project but didn’t make the final cut, leading to confusion and speculation.

Fans were particularly looking forward to Travis Scott’s contribution on the track “SOUTH OF FRANCE,” especially after he appeared in a teaser video for the song. Gunna was also rumored to have a verse on the leaked version of “TOLD MY,” but neither feature made it onto the album. This has left listeners disappointed, especially given the hype surrounding these potential collaborations.

There has been ongoing tension between Future and Gunna, stemming from Gunna’s involvement in the YSL legal case. Although Future had previously shown support for Gunna by tweeting about his single “Prada Dem,” he quickly deleted the post, fueling rumors of a rift. Given that “TOLD MY” predates the YSL situation, many speculate that the decision to remove Gunna’s verse was influenced by the ongoing drama.

Travis Scott’s omission is more mysterious. Fans had seen him recording a verse for “SOUTH OF FRANCE,” and there’s no known conflict between him and Future. This has led to further confusion about the decision to exclude his feature.

Fans took to social media to express their frustration, with one user asking, “Did we all get bamboozled by thinking Travis would be on South of France or was that just me?” Some are holding out hope that the missing features could appear on a deluxe version of Mixtape Pluto, though that would be an unusual move for Future.
