GloRilla is standing firm against criticism regarding her performance at Kamala Harris’ rally as citizens prepare to vote tomorrow, November 5th. The Memphis rapper, who has publicly supported Harris in her presidential campaign, performed a medley of her hits, including “TGIF,” “Yeah Glo!,” and “HOLLON,” at the rally in Milwaukee on Friday, November 1st. Despite her energetic set, some online critics claimed that the crowd was underwhelmed.

In response to a Twitter user who complained about her lyrics being censored during the performance, GloRilla defended the audience’s enthusiasm, stating, “Da crowd was lit you trippingggggg.” The user had remarked, “GloRilla performing at Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee. She had to mute every other word to make it somewhat appropriate. The crowd is CLEARLY disappointed.” While many fans would prefer to hear GloRilla uncensored, the context of a political rally warranted a more restrained performance. Nevertheless, the support she received online suggests that her impact goes beyond the immediate setting, echoing the larger themes of political engagement.

Fans are also buzzing about potential future projects for GloRilla, including a rumored collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion. Though the release of this project remains uncertain, both artists’ fanbases are hopeful given their chemistry. GloRilla has had a standout year, dropping her debut album and a mixtape alongside numerous collaborations and singles, building considerable momentum heading into 2025.

Additionally, GloRilla has sparked pregnancy rumors amid the rollout of her latest project, hinted at through her lyrics and recent photos. While speculation swirls, these could also just be clever promotional tactics for an upcoming music video, as she has sent mixed signals regarding the topic.
