GloRilla takes the top off to promote her new verse on the remix of Rob49’s single “Mama (Remix).” The Memphis recording artist in the race for Song of the Summer with hits “Yeah Glo!” and “TGIF” shared behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram Thursday evening topless, reciting her verse.
“Come get you a gang member, bae, we young and turnt and havin’ motion,” raps Glo while covering her breast and flaunting her slim, thick frame. “That lil’ ho a small fry, ain’t on shit, I’m baked potato loaded (Pussy) / Ooh, give me dick, dada / Them back shots get me thick, dada (Thick).”
Naturally, fans flooded the rap star’s comments. Rob49 wrote, “Don’t do me like that [laugh face emoji] [water gun emoji].”
The track also features Skrilla Baby. “Mama” appears on Rob49’s new album, 4GOD II, released in June via Geffen Records. The album features DaBaby, YTB Fatt, Icewear Vezzo, Trippie Redd, Birdman, Roddy Ricch, NoCap, and G Herbo. Shortly after the album drop, Rob49 released the viral hit “On Da Money” featuring Cardi B.
The “Mama” remix was released on Friday (August 16), and a music video is in the works. GloRilla appears on the track courtesy of Interscope.
GloRilla’s new track follows her fresh off the “Hot Girl Summer” tour with Megan Thee Stallion. In a recent interview, GloRilla admitted that the tour brought her and Megan closer together. Their Q&A, “Close Friends,” was released on Wednesday.
GloRilla released her latest mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, in April. It features breakout hits “Wanna Be,” “All Dere,” and “High AF.” Her music has received praise from celebrities such as LeBron James, actress Nia Long, and Rihanna.
In June, RiRi praised GloRilla in an Instagram message when she asked her when the debut album was being released. GloRilla would share the message with her fans in July with a gleeful caption saying, “Ayee.”
