GloRilla made some changes to her lyrics following online criticism.

The rapper teased a song via social media, and on the song she rapped, “Me and my b**** r******d.”

The snippet has since went viral on X and sparked a bit of backlash. “Why are we still using the R-word in 2024? I can’t get with this one” reacted one fan. “Ion like that R-word so it’s a no for me”.

Glorilla has since seemingly changed the lyrics to the song.”Me and my b**** go naughty“, she raps on the new version. “Awwww she changed the lyrics just in case it did hurt someone’s feelings”, one fan reacts.

“I love how you changed the R word out the song. I wasn’t offended but that’s real. Very mindful… very cutesy, very demurrrrrre”, another adds.

During a previous interview, Glo opened up about the making of her project “TGIF.” “I was going back to my roots. I rebranded on it because last year I was just trying to go so big when I was in album mode.”

She continued: “So I went back to the roots with my mixtape instead of putting out an album so I’m like I’mma give em some raw gangsta music before I put my album out because I feel like I waited too long to drop last year so I went a whole year without a project.”
