While GloRilla has certainly embraced her sex appeal, showcasing sultry looks for public consumption and throughout her career, the rapper now reveals she’s distancing herself from the concept altogether.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), the “Yeah Glo!” rapper vented about what she perceives as society’s fixation on sex appeal.
“Mfs luv talking about sex appeal baby fuck da sex appeal I got DA SEX dats what’s gone get ya nigga took in real life , PUSSY GOOD CHECK [green check, crying emoji],” she wrote.
She added: “ion gotta do allat extra shit Fym you hoes be sexy ash with no walls coochie dry asf fuck outta here.”

GloRilla’s recent remarks about sex appeal signify a shift in perspective for the Memphis rapper. Previously, when fans offered feedback encouraging her to enhance her stage presence, she leaned into the constructive criticism.
Last summer, after what some perceived as a lackluster performance at the 2023 BET Awards, Glo took to social media where she showcased her dance skills.
“Ya’ll hungry? Because I want to show ya’ll something. Ya’ll told me I need to work on my sex appeal. Ya’ll said I ain’t got none. Ya’ll said I need to be more feminine. So, here goes nothing. I’m bout to channel my inner Beyoncé — Sasha Fierce,” she said, while rocking her hips to “Beautiful Liar” by Beyoncé featuring Shakira.
On the music front, GloRilla generated buzz with the release of her new mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, earlier this month. The project includes the much-anticipated collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, titled “Wanna Be,” which sparked a viral twerk challenge — bringing Mizz Twerksum herself out of retirement.
Additional guest appearances include Moneybagg Yo, Finesse2Tymes, and Kevo Muney, among others. The release marks Glo’s first project since dropping her Anyways.. Life’s Great EP in late 2022.
