GloRilla’s streak of luck took a sharp turn this week with her DUI arrest in Georgia. The incident began when she was pulled over for an illegal U-turn at a red light. Upon approaching her vehicle, officers detected the smell of marijuana and alcohol. Recently released bodycam footage captures moments from the arrest, showing GloRilla engaging with officers.
Initially, she converses with an officer through her car window, repeatedly claiming she’s “cool” when questioned about her alcohol consumption. She also asked the officer if they recognized her. During the interaction, she mentioned having a registered firearm in her car, although it wasn’t documented in the police report.
Upon stepping out of her vehicle, GloRilla asked about her rights regarding the breathalyzer test, learning she could refuse it. A female officer noticed GloRilla’s exposed breast and pointed it out, prompting her to adjust her clothing. Despite hesitation, GloRilla ultimately agreed to perform field sobriety tests, captured in the bodycam footage.
While GloRilla appeared to perform adequately during the tests, officers remained unconvinced and proceeded to place her under arrest.
Following the arrest, GloRilla faced criticism for her online activity. She posted a photo on social media holding a bottle of Taylor Port, which garnered disapproval given her recent DUI charge. The post has since been deleted in response to backlash from fans and the public.
