The 1017 era ends as Gucci Mane launches a new record label and searches for two new artists with a two-million-dollar budget.

The Atlanta legend celebrated Independence Day with the special announcement of his new record label, “So Icy Millionaires.” In an Instagram post with his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir, he announced a $2 million cash investment to sign two emerging artists to his new label. Seeking a male and female act, Gucci declares he has a million for each artist.

“I’ve got a million plus some extras for the female artist,” said Guwoap as he counts the bundles of cash. “That’s my investment for my next superstar because I’m starting a whole new label, fresh; So Icy Millionaires. So, who wants to join my new label? I’m looking for my next male superstar.”

His wife commented, “I’ve got a million plus some extras for the next female artist.”

Gucci captioned the video with, “Who wanna be tha next millionaire??? I got 2mil ready! 1milli for tha next male SUPERSTAR & 1milli for tha next female SUPERSTAR! I gotta a brand new record label SO ICY MILLIONAIRE! Tag the hottest unsigned artists now & DM ME!”

This initiative marks a fresh start following the controversies that plagued his previous label, 1017 Global Music, which faced numerous legal issues involving its signed artists. Ahead of the incoming comments and trolls, Gucci’s wife ended the video, saying, “F*ck y’all haters.”

The new announcement follows recent criticism and conspiracy theories following the death of Enchanting, Gucci Mane’s artist. Ka’oir defended her husband on social media, saying, “Leave my husband alone. He signs these artists to help them and give them a better life! I wish it wasn’t like this! Chant, we love you, baby girl! Rest in Heaven.”

Keyshia Ka’oir launched her new podcast last month, with her husband as the first guest. In the episode, she questioned why many 1017 artists end up in prison.

Gucci Mane responded, “I was one of those types of artists, always going back and forth to jail. I try to help artists in whom I see a lot of myself. But if I’m not helping them, who else will? Nobody tells that part of the story.”
