Gunna is giving back in a MAJOR way!
The rapper launched a free lunch and clothes program at his old middle school. His campaign is called Gunna’s Drip Closet and Goodr Grocery Store.’
The convenience store is loaded with food, toiletries, new shoes, and clothes for students at McNair Middle School in Fulton County, Atlanta, Fox News reports.
CBS points out, Jasmine Crowe, the founder, and CEO of Goodr, is also part of the project. Their campaign will make life easier for about 900 students/families. McNair Middle School Principal John Madden, Jr. spoke on why Gunna wanted to do this. He said, “The rapper Gunna is from this area and was actually a McNair alum. He wanted to give back to his community and chose McNair.” Principal John Madden, Jr. continued,
“We’re just excited about this opportunity to be able to have this additional resource for our communities.”
