Cardi B claps back at rumors swirling around the supposed name of baby number three.
On Sunday (Sept. 1), the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 31, shut down internet buzz after fans thought they had cracked the code on her baby’s name.
“Cardi shares ultrasound pic of baby ‘Hurricane,’” a fan page on X confidently claimed, citing Cardi B’s own Instagram post from the same day.
“Who???” the Grammy winner clapped back, sprinkling in some crying emojis for good measure.
In her Instagram post, Cardi B gushed over her soon-to-arrive bundle of joy, writing, “I wanna meet my little boo boo soo bad already 🥺” alongside three adorable images.
We previously reported that despite their pending split, Cardi B and Offset are expanding their family with the arrival of baby number three.
Last month, Bardi announced her separation from her husband of seven years. In a subsequent announcement (soon after), she revealed that she’s expecting.
Though Cardi B did to reveal the father of her third child, court documents obtained by TMZ confirm that she and Offset are expecting their third child together. Additionally, Cardi is seeking financial support from the Migos frontman for their three kids.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!” Cardi wrote in her Instagram caption on Thursday, (August 1), alongside snapshots of herself in a red dress, proudly showcasing her baby bump. “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!” she added.
Meanwhile sources close to the situation claimed there’s been trouble in paradise for quite some time and the conclusion to their union says has “been a long time in coming.”
