It was Ice Cube who was one of the first entertainers to publicly discuss the Diddy allegations.

On Sunday evening, the creator of Gangsta Rap told his audience in Highland, California that he has never attended a Diddy party in his 40-year career. As the crowd reacted, the “Straight Outta Compton” hitmaker assured he would not be seen in the confiscated footage.

“Almost 40 years … Rockin’ the mic,” began the 55-year-old icon with his hype man WC. “And I’ma tell you right now, me and WC ain’t never been to a Diddy party, muthaf*ckas. You ain’t gotta worry about us on them muthaf*ckin’ tapes.”

Ice Cube’s comment follows the confiscation of surveillance footage from multiple Diddy properties following the grand jury’s indictment of him on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy, born Sean Combs, was arrested last week in Midtown Manhattan and taken into federal custody to await trial. He was denied bond at two separate hearings.

The seized surveillance footage could reveal other high-profile celebrities who have been involved in similar activities to those Combs is accused of. After telling the audience he’s never attended Combs parties, Ice Cube delivered a message to those who have, which led to the performance of his classic song, “Check Yo Self.”

“Anybody in here that have … I got one thing to say to yo ass,” said Cube. “If you’ve ever been to one of those parties. Boy or Girl, you better check yourself before you wreck yourself.”

Diddy is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn awaiting trial. He has been placed on a “procedural” suicide watch. Other celebrities to comment on Diddy’s recent arrest include 50 Cent, Method Man, and Aubrey O’Day.

Cassie, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, was spotted out in public for the first time after the mogul was arrested. The two settled last November for an undisclosed amount.
