- Fordham Road B/D station
- 34-Street–Penn Station A/C/E station
- Times Square–42nd Street N/Q/R/W/S/1/2/3/7 station
The new MTA collaboration adds to the promotion of Ice Spice’s anticipated debut album, Y2K, which arrives later this year. The debut includes her latest single, “Gimmie The Light,” in which she released a music video for last Friday.
“I was really nervous because we really wanted to have a very authentic Y2K sample in there, and Sean Paul, he’s legendary,” said Ice Spice on making her new hit.
A Boogie With Da Hoodie proclaimed Ice Spice the “King of New York” and Cash Cobain, New York’s new rap star, featured her on the remix to his debut hit “Fishherrr.”
Many claim her verse on the Cash Cobain collaboration is the best yet. A fan wrote on X, “Ice Spice really a real shorty. Not only [did] she hop on ‘Fisherrr,’ she put the whole video on her [YouTube] channel, shared the video on her main feed and story and added [herself] as a primary artist instead of a feature on the audio on all DSPs. Some of ya’ might not get it, but she tuff.”
