Jay-Z teams up with Michael Rubin for Fanatics Fest 2024 to offer a reimagined club experience.

The popular digital sports platform recently revealed that the rap mogul’s legendary 40/40 Club will make a grand return as an exclusive lounge in partnership with Fanatics Sportsbook at the highly anticipated Fanatics Fest NYC next month.

From August 16-18 at the Javits Center in New York City, Fanatics Fest NYC is set to deliver a swanky sports bar experience like no other. Select guests can expect an atmosphere dripping in luxury, featuring framed jerseys, grand chandeliers, stadium seating, special concoctions, and delicious small bites inspired by the original 40/40 Club menu — the perfect blend of sports and sophistication.

According to TMZ, this VIP lounge is going to be an exclusive affair for a select list of athletes, celebrities, and Fanatics Sportsbook VIPs. So, if you’re not on the list, better luck next year!

In 2003, Jay-Z opened the doors to The 40/40 Club in New York City’s Flatiron District, a name inspired by baseball’s elite 40-40 club — those rare players who hit 40 home runs and stole 40 bases in a single season. Fast forward to 2023, and after 20 iconic years, the club faced its final curtain call.

On the flip side, Fanatics Fest NYC is breaking the mold as the first-ever immersive sports festival where sports, culture, and collecting collide. Fans can rub elbows with their sports idols, hunt down rare cards and memorabilia, and score exclusive drops that’ll make any collection the envy of all.

Competitive spirits can dive into physical challenges like blazing through the NFL 40-yard dash, crushing baseballs in an MLB home-run derby, and making a grand WWE-style entrance complete with your own entrance music. It’s the ultimate fantasy come to life for every sports fan.

The festival will boast a lineup of sports and cultural legends like NFL Hall of Famer Tom Brady, MLB Hall of Famer Derek Jeter, and six-time NBA Champion Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, among others.
