Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are officially husband and wife.
They tied the knot after being engaged for one year on March 27. The couple had a private wedding with close friends and immediate family in their home. Due to the pandemic, they assured COVID-19 prevention practices were in place. Reported on People, Jeezy and Jeannie said,
“We had to change all of our wedding plans due to COVID. After Jeezy’s mother unexpectedly passed, we quickly learned that life is too short. And at the end of the day, Jeezy and I really just wanted to become husband and wife.”
The article also reports that before they said their vows, they participated in a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony to respect their parents, Mai said. After the ceremony and the exchanging of vows, they danced the night away. Take a look at some photos:
