Lauren Pisciotta, Kanye West‘s ex-assistant, has confidently responded to a wave of criticism following her allegations of sexual assault and inappropriate behavior, including claims that West masturbated in front of her. She is now pursuing legal action against the rapper. In a video shared on social media Wednesday (October 16), Pisciotta stated, “The hate I’ve been receiving lately has been overwhelming and I understand that not everybody believes me or not everyone likes me and that’s okay. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.”
She continued, “I wanna know what’s going through some of your heads when you type things like, ‘Go kill yourself’ or, ‘I hope your car crashes and sets on fire and you can’t get your seatbelt off and you die a slow, painful death.’ What’s going through your minds when you type that to me?”
Pisciotta Accuses West of Rape in Expanded Lawsuit
Earlier this week, Pisciotta expanded her sexual harassment lawsuit against West, initially filed in June, to include allegations of rape. She asserts that during a studio session, she and a fellow client were served drinks, after which attendees were told they must drink if they wished to remain. The lawsuit alleges, “After a few small sips of the beverage, poured at the direction of Kanye West a.k.a. Ye by a studio assistant and then served to her by Kanye West, [Pisciotta] suddenly started to feel disoriented.”
She contends she wasn’t aware of the sexual assault until West reportedly mentioned it years later, voicing they “did kind of hook up.” Ye then responded, saying, “Women love to say they don’t remember.” The rapper has not yet addressed the serious claims outlined in the revised lawsuit, though he had indicated plans to file a countersuit against Pisciotta.
