KARRAHBOOO Returns To Music In New Kyla Imani Single

KARRAHBOOO returns to hip-hop with “In The Hills,” a new song from Kyla Imani.

This is the first release by the former Concrete Boys member since she fell out with Lil Yatchy’s group in July. Since the breakup, KARRAHBOOO and Yachty have exchanged insults multiple times, including Lil Boat’s birthday rant. A live Instagram stream by KARRAHBOOO in September announced new music was on the way.

“In The Hills” matches Kyla Imani’s fun-filled, soulful vibe with KARRAHBOOO’s charismatic lyricism and natural appeal. Taking to the hills in a pink candy-coated vintage Mustang, the duo throws a party in the Hollywood Hills while singing about their California dreams.

Collaboration with the “Running Late” rap star was important to Kyla. She described their dynamic as follows:

“As a New York City girl living in L.A., I wanted to share stories on the vibes up ‘In The Hills.’  Working with Karrahbooo was important to me. We are very different but we share a passion for pushing boundaries and having a point to prove, especially now. ‘In the Hills’ is about embracing life’s adventures, making wise decisions and the thrill of flying to new heights—something everyone can relate to.”

Kyla Imani began sharing cover songs in 2014. In 2019, The R&B singer went on tour with DDG. “These Boys Ain’t It” was her breakthrough hit after going viral for her version of the Mooski “Track Star” hit in 2021. Her magnetic vocals represent a new voice of young women who embody the power of Generation Z.

This collaboration follows Imani’s buzzing tracks “Chosen” and “Crush” from this summer. “In The Hills” is merely the beginning of more to come from the song’s collaborators. “It is not just a song; it’s a look into a powerful fourth quarter, setting the stage for a budding 2025,” said Kyla a the press release.

This month, KARAHBOOO will join Mariah The Scientist, and Latto on the “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” tour.
