Kehlani recalls the ‘diabolical’ way she found out her ex was cheating on her.
During a recent interview with HOT 97’s Nessa– Kehlani recalls the incident being “actually psychotic. It’s actually diabolical,” she said. “I found a stack of Polaroids of all the women that he cheated on me with. He was keeping them … in his travel bag. Diabolical. I wish I was lying- I really do.”
“I was trying to clean. We were not in town and I was putting things away and … I [didn’t ask about them], I was 19 or 20, I was not the girl I am today, where I’d be like, ‘Yo … wow.’ I was definitely like, ‘Oh my god, terrifying!’ and I threw them away.”
She continued: “He never mentioned them to me and I definitely never said anything. There was crazier things that happened in that situation, so it checks out. [I knew immediately when I saw the pictures] because I recognized one of them that I already knew. But I was 19, man. You gotta be careful when you’re 19. You can get caught up in some shit. He was just a diabolical man.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Kehlani and Nessa discussed how supportive the singer is of her ex, YG, and friend, Saweetie’s relationship.
“I’m a lesbian, so why would I care about any male exes?” the ‘Crash’ singer expressed. “I also don’t care about what any of my exes are doing – male, female, anything. My goal is everybody to be happy.
“Even when I’m with someone, if we decided that we’re not mutually happy, we really shouldn’t be together and we should go be with people who make us happy. And I love Saweetie!”
She added: “I think she’s so cute and so fine. We have a song together. We hang out. She’s cool. And they make so much sense. Like knowing them both, I’m like, you know what? I really like this. I’ve told him like, ‘I like this a lot. Y’all look cute together.’”
