Kid Cudi is well on his way to recovery.
The rapper shared that he is officially walking again after breaking his calcaneus after falling off a Coachella stage. “This is F@$!%KIN crazy. I didnt think this would happen so soon,” he said with a video. “Damn near walkin regular, not much pain, smooth fluid motion. The Return of the Chosen…”
We previously reported that Cudi revealed that he had to cancel his tour as a result of the injury. In a social media post, he shared, “Guys, so, I have a broken calcaneus. I’m headed to surgery now and there’s gonna be a long recovery time. We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all.”
The post continued: “The injury is much more serious than I thought. Anyone who bought tickers will get a full refund, you’ll get an email soon. We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible and I can’t wait to get back out there with you guts and turn up how we do.”
“I’m so sorry fan and I love you all so much, thanks for the endless love and support. I’m really disappointed as I’m sure you guts are too, but I will be back. That’s a promise.”
Cudi ends the message ensuring fans that he’s in good spirits.
