Kodak Black has scored a legal victory in his recent case for drug possession and tampering with evidence following his December arrest.
On Thursday (April 18), TMZ reported that a judge threw out the evidence tampering charge that was made against the rapper. Earlier this year, the drug change was settled after it was discovered that Kodak wasn’t using cocaine but oxycodone, which he had a prescription for. He was then later released from jail.
The “No Flockin’” artist’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, said in a statement: “The court recognized the valid arguments that were made to dismiss the last remaining count of this wrongful arrest. We are happy to see the case resolved and Kodak continue to be successful in both the entertainment world and his philanthropic ventures.”
Last year, the rapper was arrested in the South Florida area after his car was spotted in the middle of the road, where he had been sleeping. As of today, only the traffic infraction remains.
