Latto and Ice Spice continue to claim there’s no bad blood, yet they keep throwing shade at each other. The latest came from Latto during a skit with comedian Funny Marco. In the clip, the two acted as talent scouts for “Open Thoughts Auditions,” reviewing aspiring rappers. When one contestant performed poorly, Latto took the chance to throw shade at Ice Spice.

“It gives me like… Ice Spice probably. It was like, ‘I’m so cute, grah,’” Latto said, mocking Ice Spice’s signature style while doing an impression. Funny Marco quickly agreed, co-signing the shade.

Latto and Ice Spice have seemingly been at odds for over a year, although the exact reason remains unclear. Even Ice Spice herself is confused by the tension. In a July interview with Rolling Stone, she said, “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me.”

While Ice Spice doesn’t appear to hold any animosity, Latto isn’t backing down. This latest jab/shade thrown during her collaboration with Funny Marco is just the most recent example.

However, Latto’s tone shifted when Cardi B came up. In the skit’s second clip, another contestant accused Cardi B of copying his dance moves and lingo. Latto, who has a good relationship with Cardi, immediately dismissed the claim. “I’m not endorsing no Cardi B diss. They can go,” she said, making it clear where her loyalty lies.

Despite the ongoing tension with Ice Spice, Latto remains supportive of her other female rap contemporaries like Cardi.
