When it comes to celebrity endorsements, Vice President Kamala Harris has racked up some of the biggest names in entertainment.

On Thursday (Oct.31), she received an endorsement from one of the greatest NBA players of all time, LeBron James.

Taking to Instagram, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar shared that he’s backing Harris in a video montage of Donald Trump’s racist remarks.

“What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me,” James wrote. “VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!”

The video featured clips from the MAGA rally held at Madison Square Garden over the weekend. In the clip, Trump said the country would end up “like Detroit” if Harris is elected and that undocumented immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country.”

Additional footage showed social justice protests and social unrest that happened during Trump’s presidency.

James is known for using his voice for political causes. In 2016,  endorsed and campaigned for Hillary Clinton and was highly critical of Trump.

After disinviting Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors for a visit to the White House, James called Trump a “bum”

“U bum,” James wrote. “@StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to the White House was a great honor until you showed up!

He also founded More Than A Vote, a voting rights organization focused on combatting voter suppression and mobilizing Black voters in states like Florida.

James joins Curry who endorsed Harris in August on the final night of the Democratic National Convention.

“It’s been an honor for me to represent our country,” the Golden State Warriors guard said while wearing his gold medal in the video message. “It’s been an honor to support Kamala [Harris]. So let’s all do our part.”
