Lil Kim is set to return to the stage later this month as the headliner for Atlanta’s 33rd annual AIDS Walk Music Festival. Scheduled for September 28th at Piedmont Park, the event will feature performances by Kim alongside DJ Durand Bernarr. The festival will follow a 5K run/walk through Atlanta’s Midtown area and aims to raise awareness and support for the ongoing battle against HIV/AIDS. This marks the second time Lil Kim has headlined an event of this nature; she previously performed at the AIDS Walk and Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, back in 2021.
In addition to her involvement in the festival, Lil Kim has been stirring up excitement with news of an upcoming tour. In a video that quickly went viral in late April, she teased fans with the promise of a tour alongside a “major artist.” The Queen Bee shared her excitement, saying, “I got something that y’all gonna be so happy about. Oh my God. I’m going on a tour with somebody that’s major. Somebody that’s real special. Y’all gonna be so happy.”
Earlier this year, Lil Kim hinted at a collaboration with Nike. She revealed some details during an Instagram Live session on April 13. While showing off a custom top made by the brand, she hinted at a secret project. She said, “It was a really nice Adidas party.” You see this? This is Adidas. Let me show you. This shit is fire bro…I’m not gonna lie, I like this shot. They kind of gave me the fire shit. The most custom made shit. We got some really secret shit going on with Adidas.”
The rapper’s personal life has also been in the spotlight recently, particularly her rumored relationship with 24-year-old Tayy Brown. Romance rumors first surfaced in February, but fans have expressed skepticism about the pair’s age difference. Although Lil Kim also hinted at a potential relationship with Antonio Brown, her current status remains unclear.
