Lil Scrappy has his sights set on Summer Walker after her jaw-dropping look at the 2024 MTV VMAs.
In a recent video shared on X (formerly Twitter) via Live Bitz, the Atlanta rapper made a move straight out of the flirtation playbook, putting his interest in the R&B star on full display.
Walker, nominated for Best R&B Video with Usher for their “Good Good” collab, went wild—literally—in a cheetah-print mini dress, matching heels, a dramatic curly blonde coif, which she paired perfectly with a red handbag and a cigarette. Her eye-popping look certainly wasn’t subtle, and it caught Lil Scrappy’s full attention.
“Man, y’all need to tell Summer Walker I said, ‘What’s happenin’,” Scrappy said in the video. Though some of his words were drowned out by background noise, his flirty tone was crystal clear. “I been in her lil earpiece cuz!” he said. “Like what’s happening, I ain’t even finna play with you like that. You feel me? Don’t play baby, come here.”
While Scrappy made his interest known, Summer’s love life has been just as much in the spotlight as her music. Her past relationship with producer London on da Track (real name London Tyler Holmes), with whom she shares a daughter, influenced much of her album Still Over It after a tumultuous, drama-filled romance. In summer 2023, she was linked to “BMF” actor and rapper Lil Meech, only to accuse him of cheating shortly after. More recently, she dated rapper LVRD Pharoh, with whom she went all-in by getting matching face tattoos.
As for Lil Scrappy, he’s been spending time with the mother of his oldest child, Erica Dixon. Earlier this year, he admitted on a podcast, “I’ve been in love with her for our whole relationship. Even when we weren’t in a relationship, she know that.” A declaration unknown to Dixon.
