Following the presidential election, Lizzo shared a video that showed her writing a heartfelt message, offering love and solidarity to a nation navigating the intense emotions following the results. According to reports, rather than directly responding to Antonio Brown‘s Ozempic comment, Lizzo subtly acknowledged it in this post, redirecting attention to unity and resilience. Ex-NFL player Antonio Brown is never one to hold back, sharing a video with the caption, “She hold the pen like she hold her ozempic shot…..”

Lizzo alluded to his comments in a new post, where she wrote, “Holding life like an Ozempic pen..😝”

In September, Lizzo shared that her recent weight came from exercise and a revamped diet, yet skeptics quickly accused her of turning to the weight-loss drug Ozempic. Unfazed, Lizzo has embraced the controversy with humor. For Halloween, she playfully dressed as ‘LizzOzempic,’ referencing a South Park episode from May where the spoof drug was suggested as a satirical alternative to Ozempic.

Lizzo Reflects on Setbacks, Offers Support to Others Struggling

Earlier in the month, Lizzo shared insights into her weight loss journey, candidly discussing a recent lapse where she overindulged and experienced feelings of guilt. In a TikTok video, she opened up about this brief return to binge eating and the challenges it brought. The singer stated, “I overate yesterday and im (sic) feeling really bad about it.” “I’m trying to remind myself that my body needed that nourishment. And if my body deserves comfort then my brain deserves comfort too.”

In the video, a voiceover from poet Soulxsigh plays, delivering a powerful message: “You did good today, really good. You might not see it, you might think it was just another day but it wasn’t. Every step you took today was a step forward no matter how small.” Lizzo used the clip to offer heartfelt support to those going through similar challenges, writing, “If you’re going through this ur not alone ❤️.”
