Ma$e’s recent slim-down has everyone talking, sparking rumors that he may have hopped on the Ozempic trend.
On Monday (September 1), Cam’ron and Ma$e returned to the airwaves for another episode of their hit show, and Ma$e kicked things off with a blazing freestyle over Common’s “The Corner.” “That’s how you feeling this morning?” Cam asked, clearly impressed. “My n-gga came in blazing this morning.”
Afterward, Cam couldn’t help but point out Ma$e’s new look, praising his fresh haircut and dramatic 70-pound weight loss. Teasing his co-host, the “Oh Boy” rapper joked, “You took the needle,” referring to the popular weight loss drug, Ozempic. Ma$e quickly shut it down, explaining, “I signed up with this coach named Ricky Moore, that’s a professional bodybuilder, and he just put me on the alkaline diet… I’m only eating fruit, vegetables, and water for now.”
Ma$e is just the latest star caught in the Ozempic rumor mill!
Last month, Ice Spice responded to fans’ concerns about what they perceived as her sudden and dramatic weight loss.
While speaking on X Spaces, the “Think U The Shit” rapper addressed the weight loss rumors, saying, “I actually came on here to talk about that real quick,” she began.
“Cuz I was like, btch, I wish y’all never learned the word Ozempic. That’s one thing I wish. Oh my God! Like what even is Ozempic? Wha the fck is that? Genuinely, what is that?”
The Bronx artist went on to explain that her fitness routine and healthy eating habits are what keep her in shape. “You lazy ass bitches never heard of a gym?” she questioned. “It’s called eating healthy. It’s called being on tour. Like what the hell. Maybe if I was sitting at home all day it’d be easier to stay big.”
Coming to her defense was none other than Sexyy Red. Under a post shared by The Neighborhood Talk featuring a recent Ice Spice performance, Sexyy Red commented, “Y’all act like people can’t be stressed or not eat as much, and she still look good so next…”
She continued, “So, we’re just gonna act like back-to-back performances don’t burn calories? There are many factors that contribute to weight loss.”
