The 50th anniversary special of the American Music Awards will feature Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Hudson, and On The Rocks premium cocktails.
Over the weekend, CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the lineup for the special. It will feature highlights from the AMAs’ extensive show archives, culminating in original performances and interviews. In addition to award and performance milestones, segments will look back on the evolution of specific artists and genres at the AMAs.
Launched in 1974 by Dick Clark, the 50th anniversary will highlight the illustrious history of the award show, courtesy of cocktails brought to you by On The Rocks premium cocktails.

The AMAs 50th anniversary special airs on Oct. 6th on CBS and Paramount+ at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
