According to reports, Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly teaming up with T-Pain in the studio, sparking curiosity about a potential music collaboration. Zuckerberg posted a video on his Instagram Story of himself and T-Pain in the studio, captioning it, “It’s happening guys.” T-Pain later shared the same image with his own caption, “It is time…” and cheekily referred to Zuckerberg as “Z.”
The duo has built an unlikely friendship over time, with T-Pain presenting Zuckerberg with a Nappy Boy Meta chain this past July. Zuckerberg displayed the chain in a video and referred to it as a “vibe,” with the caption, “Thanks @tpain for the epic new chain. Perfect opportunity to show how the new Segment Anything AI research model we’re releasing today can track different objects in the same video. Lots of fun video effects will be possible with this.” T-Pain took to the comments section to praise his new friend, writing, “Looks great on you buddy. Thanks for being a great friend.” Mark responded warmly, “It’s a great chain! Looking forward to more adventures ahead.”
AI at the Core of Zuckerberg and T-Pain’s Collaboration
Details about the outcome of this studio session remain under wraps, but based on the footage of Zuckerberg experimenting with his new chain using Segment Anything AI, it’s safe to assume that artificial intelligence plays a key role in their collaboration.
The unlikely duo formed a quick bond when Zuckerberg joined T-Pain’s livestream in 2021. During their chat, the artist playfully urged the Meta CEO to improve Instagram’s direct messaging features. T-Pain had previously admitted to being unaware of the platform’s request folder, jokingly listing a slew of celebrities who had attempted to reach out to him over the years.
