Meagan Good responds following a viral clip of she and fellow actor, Michael Ealy, exchanging a hug.

The clip- shared all across social media, shows Ealy and Good greeting each other after reuniting. The innocent interaction sparked some backlash as Ealy seemingly didn’t acknowledge Good’s boyfriend, Jonathan Majors. “Picked her up off her feet in front of her mans…. NASTY WORK !” reads one comment. “Jonathan trying his absolute best to look unbothered but it’s written all over his face..” reads another.

Good and Ealy starred in films such as “Think Like A Man” movies and “The Intruder” together. You can hear Ealy tell Good “it’s been too long” as he embraced her. According to Good, it was a “brotherly” interaction.

Good responded to the post that was shared on The Shade Room. “So we’re just gonna edit out the first part of the video where Jonathan and Micheal exchange a big hug first and then speak life over each other – “before” he gives me a big brother hug?” she questioned.

She continued: “Lol smh super unfortunate how people don’t have anything better to do than project on others and intentionally perpetuate negative misguided commentary on life snippets they have no real context to . It’s sad. Sigh. But still, God bless yall..”

That’s her man and she gon’ stick beside him! We previously reported that Meagan Good revealed that all her friends advised her against dating Jonathan Majors.

While promoting her latest movie “Divorce in the Black,” Good shared that her friends had strong opinions against her relationship.

During the interview with TODAY, Good explains, “I take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, for sure, but at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life,” Meagan admitted.

“I’m the one who has to get to Heaven one day, prayerfully, and give God an account of what I did. So, I want to be responsible for the choices that I make. I also want to live the life that I want to live.”

She continued: “At the end of the day, one thing I know is that I can always look myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit when I trust God, when I ask God, when I move to the beat of my own drum — I can always look and say, ‘I’m proud of that,’” she explained. “Whatever happens, I have peace in my heart and I have harmony in my heart.”
