Megan Thee Stallion lit up the Coachella 2025 stage with a high-energy set that had fans talking, but not just about the music. During her Sunday night performance, the rapper brought out surprise guests Queen Latifah, Ciara, and Victoria Monét. But it was a mysterious dancer in a bigfoot costume that really sparked conversation. Fans immediately assumed Megan was trolling Nicki Minaj, referencing Nicki’s 2024 diss track titled “Big Foot,” which was aimed at Megan during their heated back-and-forth.
While some fans praised Megan’s performance and saw the bigfoot moment as a clever and entertaining move, others weren’t as impressed. Supporters highlighted her strong stage presence, rap skills, and overall charisma, suggesting she outshines many of her peers. Critics, however, felt the jab was outdated, pointing out that the feud with Nicki Minaj happened over a year ago and would’ve had more impact if it was addressed sooner.
The two artists once collaborated on 2019’s “Hot Girl Summer,” but things soured after Megan linked with Cardi B for “WAP” in 2020. Nicki later unfollowed her and took shots on “Seeing Green.” In 2024, Megan fired off her diss “Hiss,” rapping, “Bitch, you a p—y, never finna check me / Every chance you get, bet your weak ass won’t address me.” Nicki then clapped back with “Big Foot.”
Adding to the drama, Megan’s Coachella set ended abruptly when her mic was cut during “Mamushi.” Visibly frustrated, she shouted, “Don’t do the Hotties like that!” before dancing through the silence until the crowd chanted her name.
