Metro Boomin recently visited Paris for Balenciaga’s couture showing, and donned in a sleek, all-black outfit, from the iconic brand. On Wednesday (June 26), the producer and other attendees got a first look at the brand’s Men’s Spring/Summer collection. “The event highlighted Balenciaga’s 53rd Couture collection, combining modern streetwear style with the elegance of couture,” according to a press release.
While Metro Boomin’s sense of style isn’t often a topic of conversation, this recent pop-out proves he’s quite the fashionisto. In a recent Instagram post, the “Like That” creator shared pics of another Balenciaga look. He chose to sport a white Balenciaga logo tee, jeans, and white sneakers.
Metro Boomin Steps into comic book world
In other news, Metro Boomin is venturing into a new frontier: the comic book world. A few weeks back, “The Metroverse,” released its first issue titled “The Rise.” The first issue, “The Rise,” pits Metro against a villainous media mogul known as The Suit, who aims to control the city through fear and deception. However, Metro fights back with his creativity, magic amulet, and powerful beats. Metroverse is an extension of Metro Boomin’s creative universe. It follows his chart-topping success with the soundtrack for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse last year.
In addition, each issue will be illustrated by Vasilis Lolos, known for his work with My Chemical Romance. In a statement, Metro says, “It’s a dream come true, to have my own comic book The Metroverse on shelves.” He continued: “Josh and Patrick helped bring my superhero vision to life on these pages with the talented Vasilis Lolos making it pop with incredible visuals. I can’t wait to share what we’ve created with my fans.”
