“Power” star, Michael Rainy Jr., is trending online after video of him being inappropriately touched goes viral.

While being featured on popular streamers Tylil James stream, Rainey Jr. can be seen being “groped” reportedly by Ty’s sister. “She never seen somebody that caliber so she start…. That’s my sister so I’m not gonna say nothing bad about her. I’m gonna just check her,” Tylil says following the incident.

“‘You ain’t gotta be on that. We all the same. We all human. Nothing ever got me more mad than this,” he continued.

Rainey has yet to speak on the incident, however, social media is in an uproar following the viral video. “That girl is weird as hell for touching on Michael Rainey like that and her brother just as odd for trying to excuse her because “she don’t be around celebrities like that..” writes on fan via X. “Michael Rainey Jr getting touched like that on live, is so trifling. Like you can tell he was uncomfortable AF…” writes another.

Rainey, 23, is most known for his role as Tariq in the hit show Power. After 6 seasons, the show is coming to an end. “It’s definitely bittersweet, It’s been 10-plus years working with these great people. It’s just like we became family … Now, it’s basically over. But at the end of the day, it’s still – you know, it’s a blessing. And I’m super excited for what’s to come for everybody – not just me – but everyone that was part of the cast.”

Rainey is looking forward to his careers future. “I’m super excited about stepping into the next chapter and showcasing that I could be looked at in a way different light. Other than just Tariq or a kid that’s menacing.”

He continued: “I really want to do a rom-com or something where I’m like a nerd or something, something like completely different than what I’ve been portraying for the past 10 years.”
